Microsoft Excel on taulukkolaskentaohjelma, joka on osa Microsoft Officea. Ohjelmistosta on saatavilla Windows- ja Mac OS X -versiot. Excelin toiminta perustuu soluihin. Excel kehitettiin alun perin Macintosh-tietokoneisiin vuonna 1985. Vasta marraskuussa 1987 ohjelmasta julkaistiin ensimmäinen Windows -versio. Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program that is part of the Microsoft Office. The software is available for Windows and Mac OS X versions. Excel is based on the cells. Excel was originally developed for Macintosh computers in 1985. Until November 1987 the program released the first Windows version.
